Okl, it may not be the resurrection, but congratulations happy little site!  You get to live for (at least) one more year!

Yea!!!!

:)

Well, Elsie has had her very first haircut, although not at all how we really expected.  You guessed it!  Graham + kid scissors - baby-sitter for <7 secs = near, albeit regrowable, disaster.  It all went down something like this:

Julie and Adam left Valentine’s Day evening for a night on the town.  While they were gone, the baby-sitter (who really is very good) was having Graham make some valentines to give to his parents when they got back from dinner.  Graham and the baby-sitter both cut out paper hearts and were going to glue them on the paper when the baby-sitter realized she didn’t have any glue.  Stepping into the kitchen to look for some, she hears Graham in the other room say “Oh Elsie, you’re gonna look so nice!”.  Shocked at what she just heard, she runs back to the room to see Graham holding the scissors up to Elsie’s hair!   :)

Waking up the next morning, we asked Graham if he really cut her hair, to which he replied.  “No, I didn’t…  Her hair just fell to the ground so I picked it up and threw it away”  Um…  uh huh.  So Elsie either has radiation poisoning or she just got her first haircut.

Could  have been a LOT worse though.  Thanks to the cat-like reflexes of our baby-sitter, I don’t think he cut very much at all and personally, I don’t think you can really even notice.  Still a very funny story though.

I saw this the other day and laughed out loud. I’m reminded of Ethan’s game face.

Gah! I just can’t wait for Christmas! On a side note… we had one of two last appointments with the midwife tonight and Noah weighed in at 12 pounds, 2 ounces and 22.75 inches long! My jaw hit the floor. I can’t believe how quickly he’s growing.

I know that most of us here are constantly on the search for new music to listen to. And I know that I’d personally love to keep up with the things that each of you are listening to. It’s for that reason that I’d like to suggest an excellent way to do that. Blip.fm is a website that allows you to share what you’re listening to right now. All that would need to be done is to create an account and then search for the song you’re listening to. You can preview the song to make sure it’s the right one and then click on “Blip”, add a message if you want and it’s added to your “station”. The site already has most songs and if it doesn’t, you can always upload it. Here are the songs I’ve been listening to lately.

I’d love to see any or all of you on Blip.fm if you’re willing. It’s a great way to stay in touch. Let me know if you have any questions.

Hi everyone-

So, Christmas is coming…

And I was wondering if ya’ll wanted to do the name drawing again this year? I was wondering if we could do one between all the adults (sans Dad and Mom): Chris, Cara, Deb, Ben, Adam and Julie –  and one between all the kids: Ethan, Raina, Ella, Sydney, Graham, Elsie and Noah?

Is that something you’d like to do?

Let’s hear from ya, and then if it’s a go, we can do the drawing and get shopping!
